Great job

It was a good feeling to know that the software walked me through all the possible deductions. The only down side is that I had to write a check to the IRS but with my state return I was able to pay my federal taxes and still have some left over.
What's great about it: easy
What's not so great: Having to pay my taxes.

Smooth like butter

If you have a file with your tax records, this process flies. Even better is if you use a second year in a row. All your entries from the previous year are automatically enters making the job even easier.
What's great about it: Flew through my return in a couple hours

2012 Taxes

Still the easiest and best way to get taxes done. The charitable contribution calculator is terrific. And transferring from year to year makes this the best and fastest way to go. I recommend it often and none of my friends have been disappointed.
What's great about it: Absolutely the easiest way to do taxes. Gets them done correctly and without hassle. Love the step by step. MY 15thyear.
What's not so great: Hard to delete froms that were used the year before but no longer needed.

I have been using Turbotax for years now with absolutely no complaints. Easy to use, flexible with Guided Tour or explore on my own. I love it!
What's great about it: Flexibility of guided tour through taxes or explore on my own.

Worth-while Investment!

• I have been a Turbo Tax user for the past 15 years. Each year the program improves and allows for easier use and less time preparing. There are some great features, I wish I could use, but my financial institutions just aren't affiliated with the program.
• The questions are concise and easy to read. And now that the law changed on how companies provide the info on the bonds and stocks, it has taken the frustrating part out of doing that part of the taxes.
• I wish there was an obvious option to make a pdf of your return rather than having to know how to do it so you can make one. My mom uses this program and I have to walk her through the process every time. And it is better to have a pdf of all the worksheets, then even the printout because you always know where to find it. And if you try opening it through the program, it always wants to update, and of course you can't because it has been filed as you saved it.
• All in all, I would totally recommend this program to anyone who needed to do their taxes. You do get the maximum return for little payout. And every little bit makes a difference when you a struggling to stay in the black.

What's great about it: Does most of the thinking for you, especially when having to comprehend some ot the legal jargon. Also, saves time.
What's not so great: Not much. But this year was first time I had issues with an error and finding a place to claim something.

I AM IN MY MID 40'S AND I HAVE NEVER DONE MY OWN TAXES. IT WAS EASY TO FOLLOW AND COMPLETE BY MYSELF. IT TOOK AWAY ALOT OF MY ANXIETY.
What's great about it: VERY USER FRIENDLY
What's not so great: NEED A LIST AT THE BEGINNING OF WHAT ALL INFORMATION IS NEEDED
