should default to the norm unless check one of the exceptions.
why not give prior year customers a discounted price that no others can actually get as incentive to rebuy.

What's not so great: have to pay extra for state return/ if you go back it requires to recheck boxes instead of keep what was checked before
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

This year, I was 72 hours away from the filing date when I purchased the program. But, Turbo Tax has become so streamlined, I was able to e-file my federal and state returns within a few hours of beginning the process. When I first purchased Turbo Tax, I had to enter almost every item. That was very tedious when it came to entering 401k data. But, Turbo Tax took customer input to heart. Within two years, there was a way to automatically link to financial institutes to retrieve all the data that I had to enter manually. Now, with a history of using Turbo Tax, the program searches and downloads the previous tax return data and it becomes a quick review for me. What took several days to accomplish, now only takes a few hours. Ocassionally I still need to make changes as they happen from year to year. But, this is a much more streamlined process that gives me peace of mind that my returns are accurate and sent safely on time, every time.
What's great about it: The program is getting faster every year.
What's not so great: Too pricey for state e-file charge.

Have used for yers and thins version has been by far the best one to use yet.

TurboTax - Awesome!

I have used TurboTax now for 11 years running, and it just keeps getting better and better every year! TurboTax is the DIY of an otherwise very complicated and convoluted process, and puts successful and confident accomplishment of this process well within the "do-able" range of any person who has a computer and can follow prompts within a software program. Thank You TurboTax!
What's great about it: Step by step, full explanations of each step with supporting assistance all along the way! TurboTax makes taxes DIY!

PEACE OF MIND

Taxes have always be a source of worry for me- although I do not file complex taxes - second guessing myself was torture and concern for making mistakes made the process exhausting. Thanks for carrying some of the burden with me. The purchase of TurboTax is worth the expense and gives me a little more of my life back. Thanks again.
What's great about it: I NEVER HAVE TO 2ND GUESS MY TAXES WITH TURBOTAX

have used TurboTax for many years now. seems to work well. i always wait till April to file in case there is any last minute update or correction.
