I love Turbo Tax

So Very Easy!

I am always dreading doing my returns - this was a snap! The instructions couldn't be any clearer for a novice such as myself. I have peace of mind knowing all the right figures are in the right places!
What's great about it: Clarity of instructions
What's not so great: None
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

We have used Turbo Tax each year since 2003. What a relief to know that we have not been audited and all our returns have been accurate.
To those who establish the outlines of the program, we ALL thank you for your professional advice.
What's great about it: Carefully calculates each deduction and requirement
What's not so great: It's all on you unless you purchase defence protection

Works year after year

It's handy that Turbotax remembers everything I've done for years - it saves time from me having to go dig up stuff that carries forward.
My main complaint for years has been that navigation when jumping back to a topic is cumbersome. Let's say I need to add one more 1099-div or -B. There are a number of other items it re-asks me.
What's great about it: Love that it remembers everything I've done for years

Great Product Fear Free

The TurboTax product removes the guess & fear from the tax filing process! This is true for the novice or the most experienced financially savvy person.
For me the product provided the greatest advantage after the first year’s usage. The import feature gathered the prior year’s information and made it available for the current years return; this feature was effortless!
The links to payroll services and financial institutions eliminate so much of the data entry otherwise required for filing a return.
Lastly the interview style of preparing the return provides an extremely thorough method of completing a complex document. Prior to using TurboTax I was left to worry that I had missed an opportunity to reduce my liability or mistakenly introduced errors through ignorance of the tax laws.

Did our taxes with ease ... super program for married folks / no children / 1 working / 1 retired. I am sure program is great no matter what your status.

Turbo Tax is a easy product to use. It provides excellent descriptions for all portions. I recommend self motivated people use this program. You can also learn a lot about your situation and how taxes work.
What's great about it: Easy to use!! So Easy A Grunt Could Use it!
