We have been using TurboTax for the past 10 years and have loved it.
What's great about it: Simple transition of yearly information to new returns
What's not so great: none
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Easy breezy tax filing

If you gather all the procrastinators and put them in a list, I'd be in the top 1% of the list.
I've waited till last minute to file tax return as I was busy and I know that with turbotax I can breeze through my filing and that's what happened through my filing. I finished my return in 2 hours considering I've mortgage and other itemized deductions. I wish life is that simple.
Way to go - turbotax.

Still the best

I have used TurboTax for more than ten years, and it has worked well for my situation - dependents, alimony, child support, educational expenses, work expenses, etc.
However, I did encounter a strange glitch this time. It prompted me to add information 7 additional dependents(that it had generated on its own) at the review phase. I could not get out of the "loop" and had to go back to the personal info to delete those "ghost" dependents. Caused a moment of panic, but in the end, it worked out.
What's great about it: ease of use, step-by-step help
What's not so great: making a change can cause some trouble

Turbo Tax Saves Know It All

I'm cynical about commercials for products that promise to find the maximum refund possible. I've done my own taxes for years and thought I knew everything about getting every deduction legally possible.
I got divorced in 2012 and figured I would just file as single. Turbo Tax suggested that I file as Head of Household instead of single. Saved me over $500 right off the bat.
Also qualified for an Earned Income Credit, thanks to Turbo Tax. I would have completely overlooked that, except Turbo Tax showed me I qualified. That increased my refund another $200.
Bottom line: Turbo Tax paid for itself many times over.
