I Love Refunds!

Having an accounting degree, but I am not a CPA, this is the easiest and most cost-effective way to do taxes if you have your details and paperwork but don't think it is enough to warrant paying massive dollars to a CPA.
What's great about it: Easy

There are some confusing questions which could be a lot less so if the explanation was used in the question instead of having to read the explanation.
The cost of the product is high when compared to other products and the e-transmit fee for state tax refunds is high.
What's great about it: easy to navigate

Turbo Tax makes filing taxes a much easier process. Takes you step by step through the process and gets it done quickly. I have used this software for many years and keep coming back!
What's great about it: Guides you step by step and gets it right.

I hate doing my taxes. With a white hot fury and a cold constipated dread. Such convoluted rules, such gov-speak vocabulary. And the rules change just enough every year to make it more confusing.
But, good old TurboTax is there, with the familiar interface, the comforting language, the consistent steps, and for us veterans of the tax prep wars, the flexibility to go through the process the way we like.
Thanks for minimizing my suffering, keeping me organized year to year, and doing the math.
