No Nonsense Refund

I have been using a form of Turbo Tax for years and it has not failed me. Thank you for being consistent and also making sure customers always get the update information; even as we are in the mist of during our taxes. I wouldn't go any where else for tax preparation, unless I'm at war or something : )

Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

TURBO FAST

TurboTax is TURBO FAST. It imports all my data from last year. Goes through all deductions with ease. Reminds me of deductions I forgot about. Click, click, click and you are done! This is the greatest, I hated doing taxes before I started using TurboTax, I am a customer for life! Thanks TurboTax!!!
What's great about it: Super fast in doing all paperwork, keeps last year data, self populates all info

Saves Time

Completing taxes for myself and a couple dependent children its nice to be able to complete the taxes so quickly. There are times however when I wish I saw what was going on behind the scenes. When I use actual forms I can better see how one entry relates to another which is not as obvious when TurboTax is prompting you for the inputs. I also found that it wasted some of my time by asking for educational expense inputs when it the Turbo Tax already had sufficient information to know that I would not qualify for the exemption.
What's great about it: I like having last years data automatically entered in the current year.
What's not so great: You can become overconfident because it catches some but not all errors.

Fairly easy to use

By no means can you use this without having some idea on doing your taxes on your own because you will definitely miss things.
What's great about it: Fairly easy to use but you have to know what you're doing
What's not so great: issues with calculating state tax on pensions

I love using Turbo Tax. I have using it for over 10 ten years. I feel very comforable with it. It makes it go so easy and I don't have to worry about forgetting anything. It walks me through every step of the way.
What's great about it: The program downloads all of the information that you have entered before. That saves so much time and prevents errors.
What's not so great: When the program goes through and checks for errors, you are not alway sure what area you are in and how to fix it.
