Always easy

I tried several times and with a couple different credit cards, but I couldn't get turbo tax to accept a credit card payment for the state return fee.
Each time the system would not accept my card as valid card, when each of cards I used were definitely valid.
What's great about it: I like the ability to be walked through the process, and being led to the necessary information.
What's not so great: For the first time this year, I encountered a problem that stopped me from filing the state return.

I have lost track for how many years I've used TurboTax. I will use every year.
What's great about it: Easy entry and calulates everything for you.

Made it easy

I found it to be a very easy step by step instructions. That was especially helpful for my first time using this software. I'm looking forward to using it again next year and capitalizing on having the information stored from this year.
What's great about it: Step by step instructions
What's not so great: some terminology was different from what my accountant used in the past.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

First Experience w/ TurboTax: Fast and Efficient!

As a first-time user of TurboTax, I have to say I am impressed. I have had my tax returns prepared by a CPA for the past 10 years with no issues, but after buying a home and getting married this past year my wife and I decided to do our taxes ourselves this year. I had my doubts (and my CPA as my backup plan) with all the new events that took place in my life in 2012 and quite a few uncommon income and tax reporting issues to report on my 2012 tax return, but TurboTax handled all of this with ease. My wife and I walked through it slowly and it still only took a few hours and we were done with our taxes. We are both excited to do our own taxes with TurboTax again next year.
What's great about it: Very detailed Step-by-Step Explanations, Handles Uncommon Tax Issues with ease, Great Learning Aids embedded throughout

The product is easy to follow, some questions make you wonder what there talking about but you eventually figure them out

money saving tax filer

I enjoy turbo taxes way of getting all areas of taxes done by giving options that are not even thought of even if you don't need or use them. I get to do my taxes at my pace and at home where my papers are, I can start and finish when I can do them. I get them done cheaper and and done the same way other preparers are doing them at a higher cost.
What's great about it: reviewable, quick, explains all questions, can save and return later
What's not so great: costs more to update on line than buying disc at store level
