Made a confusing task easy.

For the most part, I really found the program easy to navigate until I got to the part where I had to put in my 1099-B/1099-DIV information. I had an error on it and could not find it in the program except when I stepped through the INCOME and then the DEDUCTION sections. I still could not figure it out; but thank goodness I finally realized I could download it from my broker.
Otherwise, this is my 8th year and I will do it again next year.
What's great about it: Easy to follow - stepped me right through almost everything.
What's not so great: Put the form numbers in the overall list - I could not find a number where to call the tax expert -

Easy and quick

I have used this product for several years as I have a fairly simple return but not quite brave enough to do it all by myself. It took me only a short amount of time and I was able to complete it from the comfort of home. I felt that it explored all of my deduction options and I used the help option without difficulty. I will continue to use this product.
What's great about it: Easy, step-by-step, inexpensive
What's not so great: None

Great product

Fix the link for 1099-patr that deals with coop's and this product will be perfect. I had an issue with were to place this information and had to look back at online forums from 2009 to find out were to place this under misc. income. There should be info for that on the software! Would have given 5 stars if this wasn't an issue.
What's great about it: Easy to follow instructions
What's not so great: Issue with 1099-patr for coop didn't help you locate were to place this type of form. Found it in a forum online.

Turbo Still Has Basic Problems

Intuit has the tax content down, but still can't seem to make the computer navigation as easy as it could be. Whenever I leave a return mid session, TurboTax does not take me to exactly where I left off when I return. I have to wade through screens I already completed. Downloading stock transactions from online is still a complex exercise, as invariably Turbo fails to download certain key information, which it then requests and I have to wade through the paper transactions to find anyway. Finally, at the intro screen listing charities previously contributed to and allowing you to choose "yes" or "no" whether a contribution was made this year - after slogging through that, Turbo can't seem to remember which were "yes" and which should have been deleted, showing only about 1/3 of the "yes" selected charaties. Finally, Turbo once again changed the "save" options and apparently deleted the option to save your return in Turbo compatable format rather than in PDF. I only hope my final returns were saved when I exited the program. Really, after all these years, Intuit can do better than this!
What's great about it: The program is comprehensive, covering most usual tax situations and is usually easy to use except for nagging problems
What's not so great: Doesn't remember where I stopped; Can't download all necessary investment from online; Can't remember to list charities

Good product!

Good product! I am a pastor and like the way it handles my particular situation. Easy to use and intuitive.
What's great about it: Very nice and intuitive. Entering non-cash/check donations was easier than last year.
What's not so great: After I save and exit I'd like it to come back to the same place when I left.

I really had no problems. I have used Turbo Tax for the last few years and it seems to get easier and easier each year.
