stupid billing

the taxes software is great. The only problem is I end up paying multi times 1. to buye the software 2. To file state taxes 3. audit protection Simply put combine in one price and be done

Complex tasks made simple

One of the best tools ever created that have a simple but yet effective way to navigate people through the complex seas that are the taxes.
From definitions to personalized question, it makes feel at ease with the process. I loved the Error and Audit check. That makes me feel relief when I saw the assessment results. Yes, I had some errors but thanks to the analysis I got it corrected.
What's great about it: Very detailed and organize way to walk people through the complex seas that are the taxes.
What's not so great: I think there is nothing I don't like.

A Step up

I really like the features with this program. Its definitely a step up from the IRS free software and a lot cheaper than the tax prep fees. And it give you the option to amend, I believe that a excellent service.
What's great about it: Easy, User friendly
What's not so great: didn't feel that it had enough prompts for Dot/ Department of transportation
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

User friendly software

Turbotax is the most user friendly tax software on the market. As a former employee of a well-known tax-preparing company, I have used multiple other softwares including that of my former employer. Turbotax is, by far, superior in that it offers as much opportunity for in-depth preparation as the preparer is willing to spend on filling out the return. Help information is clearly written in laymen's terms for even the novice tax preparer to easily comprehend. Help topics afford easy access to websites for more detailed explanation. And, lastly, the cost of the software is competitive as to be affordable.
