Turbo Tax is convenient , easy to use and basic... just go through each section... been using it for years!!
What's great about it: easy to do
What's not so great: like the question technique in the older versions better

Excellent product! I have used it for the past 5 years and will use it again next year.
What's great about it: simple, user friendly and very comprehensive!
What's not so great: none with Turbo Tax--the whole tax/IRS thing makes me nervous!

Still find TurboTax easy to use and thorough. Tried a cheaper alternative one time and regretted it.
What's great about it: Ease of use, improved Help functions
What's not so great: Didn't resume guided completion where I left off

The process was quick and simple for the most part. Understanding some of the questions I was taken to was a bit confusing. My husband is an over-the-road truck driver and so there are deduction expenses for that and it was difficult to figure out just where to apply them. I am sure I got it right. Kind of. lol This was my first time to use Turbo Tax and I am looking forward to using it every year. Wish I had started using Turbo Tax sooner.
What's great about it: Quick
What's not so great: A little confusing
Pros: I moved, My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Smooth transitions

I had to pull some numbers from previous year returns and had an easy time of navigating the forms and drilling down to the detail. There were a couple of areas where I wanted more info on why I was working on a certain calculation, but all in all this was an easy process.
What's great about it: Easy to move between guided tour, going on my own path, and viewing forms.
What's not so great: Sometimes difficult to get back to beginning of section I was working on

Easy Peazy Refunds

Make each charity contribution date entry, even if it is the same charity, available for editing. In other words, I had entered all my deductible items for the same charity, but had mixed up the two separate donation dates. Turbo tax kept adding the contributions together as I was trying to reverse the dates. I ended up having to re-enter all the items again! It was time consuming.
What's great about it: Turbo Tax makes tax time so painless and is reasonably priced
What's not so great: Some typo errors are difficult to fix (i.e. I mixed up the dates of my charitable contributions for the same charity)
