2012 Refund

When you have college students as dependents and you put their college expenses on the parents form what needs to be done on the students return for college expenses. If you say they attended college, then the software wants you to list the same things that are on the dependends from and you have already taken credit for. It was a little confusing.
What's great about it: Was very easy to follow. Able to do multiple returns.
What's not so great: Where college expenses for dependends go.

2012 Best Yet (except computer compatability)

I am using XP professional Media Center Edition. Net framework 4.0 is not compatible with this OS. Consequently, I lost the ability to record and watch TV on my computer. Each year I have to install Net4.0, do my taxes, and revert back to Net 3.5. I am an expert pc user, but I can imagine the support calls and frustration, not to mention turning against Turbo Tax, that millions of MCE users experience. Can you make TT run on Net3.5?
In 2011 my copy of Deluxe Fed would not run at all. I searched and found the problem with not having the euro fonts installed. In 2012 the fonts were gone again. Imagine the frustration that many people experienced. To be fair, I did not call your support. My experience with it seemed to indicate a weakness in technical support. I have used TT every year that I can recall, at least since the early 90's.

In previous versions there was the ability to tab thru all the functions on each page. All the hot spots that allow forward & backward travel thru pages used to be able to tabbed to and activated via the return or enter key strokes.
