A bit harder to use than past years

Hard to find information on CO deductions for retirement purposes, not user friendly. Again, it's deductible was harder to maneuver in and out of.
What's not so great: absolutely disliked the way charitable deductions was changed, please make that more user friendly, in and out of screen

I have used Turbotax for years. For the first couple of years I did my taxes by hand first and then checked with Turbotax. Turbotax was easier and always returned the same r better results than laboring through by hand.
What's great about it: Easy to step through
What's not so great: A little hard to understand some of the terminology in the explanations

Straightforward as usual

Having used TurboTax for the last decade, it's become my filing method of choice. The only issue I found in the tax-year 2012 TurboTax Deluxe version was its inability to import prior year information from 2011 TurboTax Home and Business. It would have made both data entry and year-over-year comparisons much easier.
What's great about it: Intuitive, clean workflow
What's not so great: Didn't (or couldn't) import from prior year's filing

Loved that I could go in and actually look at the forms and not just the online form choices. Lucas B was the most amazing tech- he figured out why the system wasn't working right for me- sent me a link to download the program- showed me how to access the actual forms He stayed with me on chat until issue was 100% resolved, even though I offered to go back in queue while my laptop SLOWLY downloaded the three files he sent me. This all took place over the dinner hour. He was confident he could solve my problem, got help from a supervisor instead of making me wait and then stayed with me until I was able to complete my return. Excellent service!
What's great about it: Loved the forms access of downloaded version
What's not so great: The online version is not near as user friendly as the downloaded version
Pros: I moved, My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Easier than ever

I've been using Turbo Tax for 6 years and I find the language easier to read and simpler to follow each year. The speed has improved. The help system has improved and I will continue to use Turbo Tax in the future.
