So Easy It Makes You Wonder

It is easy from step one. The online purchase is smooth and the download and install is quick and painless. The software itself is setup to be a smooth flow. The questions and answers are clear, and everything matches the forms you receive (W-2, 1099, etc). I am sure you have seen that not all institutions complete there forms exactly the same. You can leave at any time and everything picks up where you left off. This is a great product and I have been using it since 2007. I will make one stipulation that my taxes are not overly complicated. However, taxes are taxes and you want them to be correct. I like the secure feeling knowing my taxes are correct.
What's great about it: Seriously, what is not to like! Quick updates; Easy flow; Detailed explanations
What's not so great: I don't think so.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I've been using Turbo Tax every year for over a decade. Each year it gets better and easier. I haven't found an issue yet that Turbo Tax could not handle.
What's great about it: Quick and easy
What's not so great: Having to pay taxes.

Schedule A

Schedule A is required to be filed with both the Federal and State of Arizona, but Turbo Tax did not print a copy of this version with the filing documents. I am terribly disappointed and now wonder what other misstakes Turbo Tax has made over the last 12 years I have used it. Next year I will consider another program.

Simple, yet extremely thorough

TurboTax is by far the most thorough and easiest tax software out there, The questions are easy to understand and make my return detailed and tailored just for me. I won't be using anything else.....ever!

For areas where certain things questions would like to be able to skip instead of having to go through them. Maybe a checklist of front to check off items. For example in the investment income area would only like to go through 2 of 3 if that is all I have - same for deductions.

What's not so great: Unable to skip questions which are NA
