Refund Retainer

I have been using Intuit Turbo Tax for the last 10 years. I find it very efficient, professionally designed with easy step-by-step instructions and it has always helped me get back my entire entitled refund. I plan to continue using Turbo Tax into the future.
What's great about it: simple to use; step by step instructions; professionally designed; thorough error checking
What's not so great: none

Fits My Style

I have used Turbo Tax for many years. Through several unusual tax situations over the years Turbo Tax has guided me through reporting properly. The brief descriptions of situations, quick references and links to IRS publications or other sources is always right on.
What's great about it: Convenient, fast upgrades and links. Taxes can be done while wearing pajamas while listening to music.
What's not so great: Cost or state e file not prominent. Having to sign into T T acct to pay.

Stress-free Preparation

OVerall I a have used turbo tax since your first version way back when and wouldn't stop now. It is very straightforward and removes the stress with its live windows on taxs owed or refund.
What's great about it: Easy step by step entry and easily backtrack to specific areas
What's not so great: Waiting for the Feds and State to withdraw funds from checking account

Next year will b e my twenty-fifth year using TurboTax. I was easy to use then but has somehow improved every year. Keep up the good work.
What's great about it: Interview process works well but I still like form fill
What's not so great: Would like to see free e-file for state

I was disappointed with TurboTax for the first time. I have been using it for many years. It didn't allow me to transfer personal info from my 2011 TurboTax return, it brought over incorrect information from my Federal K-1 to State return. It did,t save responses to some questions.
What's great about it: Calculates State automatically and EasyStep is nice
What's not so great: Fills in incorrect information on K-1s

2012 Return

Easy method to do your taxes. Would recommend to anyone who has never tried it. Gives you time to go find the documents you need to complete the return. Makes you think about deductions and how to get more next year.
What's great about it: Easy to use, guide is good, covers everything I could think of..
What's not so great: Sometimes confusing on property tax and sales tax
