TT is the greatest! I was informed that I had capital gains to report on a trust- but wasn't informed until April 9th! TT was able to recalculate Federal and State taxes effortlessly in no time. Although I was disappointed in the tax calculations, they were accurate and saved me from having to file an extension. thanks TT!
What's great about it: Able to do "what if" scenarios to see tax implications.

TurboTax is good, but not that great

Great tax program. Easy too use. However it contains too many solicitations to buy additional features.
What's great about it: Easy to use, and provide relatively good explanation to tax laws
What's not so great: Too may solicitations

I have had my taxes done by a professional for 20 years. I decided to try it on my own and was amazed at how easy Turbo tax makes it to file.
What's great about it: Nice and easy steps to foloow for preparing Tax returns

Gave me the laws when I needed them in easy to understand language. While a friend looked up the information in the old fashion way I was able to complete my return with confidence.
