Comprehensive & Logical Interface

I've used TTAX for 16 years save a two year interlude with Tax Cut when TTAX made it difficult to use the product on more than one machine. Works well with Quicken when you work the tax categories properly and most brokerage houses and banks support direct downloads of 1099s.
This is the only tax dog in the shed for me.
What's great about it: Step-by-Step method leaves little to chance
What's not so great: Not a con, but an "I miss feature." When opening forms under view, there was a button feature "all forms or my return"
Pros: I moved, My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Your form to enter tax free income is incorrect. You ask for the amount in Box 8. That was last year. This year the Mutual Funds that send out a 1099 for exempt interest dividends show the amount in Box 10.

Stress Relief

Every year I was preparing my family and my taxes using the forms which was very time consuming. I have being using Turbo Tax for the past three years and it makes life so stress free. At first I was a little skeptical about using Turbo Tax but once I did I have been using it since. I Love It.
What's great about it: It takes you step by step through the entire process. It imports information.
What's not so great: I wasn't aware that I could get updates yearly. I have been purchasing new software yearly. Is that stated somewhere it.

Very easy to use. Would like to see a way to chat with someone for extra help or questions. Liked the way it transfers numbers between forms.
What's great about it: Easy to use, walks even a dummy like me through!

I enjoy using Turbo Tax and have used it for many years.
I love being independent, keeping informed about and understanding our tax system. Turbo Tax gives the individual taxpayer the help she needs to participate in our taxation system.

I had a much more complicated return this year with a number of deductions, losses, income categories, etc. and it was all just a step by step process with Turbo Tax. It couldn't have been any easier using the step by step process.
What's great about it: Made a very complicated return extremely easy
