Turbo Tax makes filing your taxes easy. It walks you through the entire return step by step. When you use Turbo Tax in subsequent years it loads much of your information for you from the prior year return. Two great features include the comparison of income, deductions and taxes to the prior year and the audit/audit risk feature.
What's great about it: Walks you through entire return

today was 14, the date line was the 15 , it was so easy to do my taxes ,took lest than 45 min from start to finishing both federal and state , and e file them both ,and this is the first time I had e flied my taxes , I could not believe how easy it was to do this for the fist time , and most of all this so much fun to do my taxes for 2012 and have the refund sent to my checking account , and with turbo tax e filing I will get my refund faster than by mailing it and waiting for a check to come in the mail

Program getting better every year

Even with the US and it's complex tax laws and forms,
TurboTax plows right through it all, with accuracy and confidence. I like that and guaranteed, too!

Would recommend this program to anyone preparing their own tax return.
What's great about it: Easy Guide made this a very simple procedure. It covered all my tax situations in detail.
What's not so great: Too many 'Continue' to click.

If you have all your supporting documents together and have a pretty good understanding of how taxes work, then Turbo Tax is the way to go. It has prompts for all the information it needs, with helpful information pop-up boxes. There are a few areas that could use a little more information or explanation, such as the HSA rules. I was unable to e-file; every time I tried it stated that I needed to download updates, but I did that and it still didn't work. That makes me unhappy.
What's great about it: Quick, detailed, good information, easy transfer of info from year to year
What's not so great: There are a few areas that could use better explanations, such as the HSA information.
