Fast and Easy

all the built-in review and checks gives us peace of mind, plus TT offers free audit support center program to download just in case.
we didnt get as much refund as last year, though we didnt have any major changes in life. wish TT could tell us exactly why.

Program followed a logical process and tabs accross top helped us know where we were in the process.

Makes taxes a little less painful

If you have relatively simple taxes, then using TurboTax makes a lot of sense. But if there are complications (AMT, stock sales, etc.), then it might make sense to use an accountant instead. There were times TurboTax did not fully explain why it was taking certain actions, and we had to research the relevant IRS publications to figure it out -- not so much fun. But we appreciate saving the money that we would have had to pay an accountant. So, if your taxes are simple, definitely consider using TurboTax. If they're complicated, and you don't enjoy muddling through government tax forms, i'd recommend hiring an accountant instead.
What's great about it: Quick & easy (for the most part)
What's not so great: Doesn't clearly explain everything when it gets complicated

Step by step directions are easy to follow

Very pleased with application; would like to see first state filing to be free same as federal filing; really don't have any complaints.
What's great about it: user friendly and online links when additional info needed
What's not so great: none; takes some practice to know how to get around but not really an issue

I'd like more guidance about how retirement income from Social Security is applied in state income or retirement declarations.
Also, I'd like more discussion about 401(K) rollovers to traditional IRA's besides the Roth IRA's.

Easy as pie

All in all I found this years tax return easy. I had to use a CPA for the prior two years but have been a long time fan of Turbo Tax.
What's great about it: The math is calculated quickly and easily, and it is less money than the CPA.
What's not so great: I wonder if the CPA might have gotten a better return

Easy and Excellent

This is the 10th year in a row I've completed my taxes with Turbo Tax, so they are doing something right. No disrespect to certain retail chains, but based on the appearance of the individuals employed by their tax services, I feel much safer having Turbo Tax complete mine!
What's great about it: Cost, Ease, Quickness
