easy even for an ole man

about 2 hrs for a two finger typer w/ minimal comkputer skills, would rec ommend to anyone saved me about $200 just on tax preparation charges.

Keeps getting better and better each year

Every year the TurboTax gets better and better. This year I was able to import a lot of my information directly from the internet. I wasn't able to in previous years.
My only real complaint is it was kind of tedious sometimes to go make a change. I couldn't go directly to the section I wanted. I had to go to the top of the section and then click continue through the subsections until I got the the exact section I wanted.
What's great about it: Easy. Straight Forward. Very Detailed. Has easy and expert mode.
What's not so great: Making change in a particular section wasn't always direct.

Ive used turbo tax for years without any problems. Sometimes it feels like I need assurance as I go which is just normal I guess. If you dont have a complicated financial life Im not sure you could mess it up.
What's great about it: Easy

Disappointment

i have used Turbo Tax for several years and it is excellent tax software. However, there was an error with regard to the 2007 AMT/credit calculation that would have resulted in a significant tax credit that was erroneous if user did not disregard Turbo Tax calculation of credit. In terms of improvements in the future, it would be good to be able to understand more re: how the input information impacts the calculations before the end of the cycle.
What's great about it: Program is user friendly
What's not so great: Program error in AMT calculation caused extra time on return
