I sold a rental property and they did not give enough information (any really) on what closing cost could be deducted.
What's great about it: easy - I like the walk through
What's not so great: not enough explanation of some items

Been using Turbo Tax for years because of ease of use and assurance that everything is accurate.

Makes filing easy and convenient

Overall, really happy with the product, other than the cost.
What's great about it: Love the guidance throughout the filing process. I am an IRS employee and TurboTax is the program I refer everyone to.
What's not so great: The cost. I pay for the program and then pay for filing my returns.

Refunded far more than expected

This is our 8th or 9th year using TurboTax, and we just won't use anything else. We'd previously used TaxAct for years, but TT proved to be easier, friendlier, and provided better results.
We love it, and will continue to use it for a long, long time...
(Unless things get REAALLY complicated, and we need to hire someone...)

What's great about it: Simple to use, covered everything, uncovered new deductions!
What's not so great: Direct entry for some forms didn't work 100% - needed to use the questionnaire format. No big deal

Fast and Easy

Although it is easy to follow the Guided Tour, there is not any option given to actual review each form after it is filled out unless you go to View Forms. there are times when looking at the actual forms that additional info is generated because a field not questioned on requires a response not asked about.
Should automatically go to a "Review all Forms" option at the end

What's not so great: Have to open each form to make sure everything has been entered

We continue to use Turbo Tax year after year as it keeps prior year information and is easy to use. I also love the feature to enter deductions of donations.

I've used Turbo Tax for years and have always been pleased with how easy it makes preparing my tax forms. The step-by-step guide ensures nothing gets missed and is very easy to follow.
What's great about it: Easy to navigate various sections, display of 2011 entries for comparison
What's not so great: Can't thin!k of a thing
