good software

this is a good product...I think it is more thorough in it's review than previous tax software I have used..
What's great about it: I was led in an understandable manner through the forms
What's not so great: the format was different than previous tax software I had used, but I liked it as I grew more accustomed to the format.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Easy As Pie!

I have used Turbo Tax for several years now, and I am always pleased with how easy the program has made it doing your taxes. The program helps you look for deductions, provides explanations with just a click of the mouse, and updates are always present. During the paper/pencil/calculator days doing your taxes could take literally all day. With Turbo Tax, I'm done within the hour.
What's great about it: Just a Few Click and Your Done!

Extremely poor performance

The program would not download last year's information.
The program would not recognize my personal information in order to retrieve 2011 tax return. I had to input all personal info manually. The only way I could input charitable contributions was to sign up for 2013 "Its Deductible" and go back to 2012 and "edit in" my 2012 information. The program insisted that the Holy Spirit Catholic Church (complete with the correct address) was "Untitled". It would not accept a valid Zip code for Maryland. Printing and e-mailing my return took 2+ hours of diddling and fiddling. Need I say more? The last stand for TurboTax, and there you were in the middle of all this, sending me an e-mail ad for your product saying, "It's not too Late".

Get your act together!
What's great about it: use of computer and e-filing
What's not so great: Too many parts of the program do not work. It's little more than junk!

Overall, easy to use. First time using it and will definately use it again in the future.

I've used for about 10 years, but a few years I couldn't find my prior year electronic copy and was forced to start from scratch. This is an opportunity to improve the product by offering a secure storage site for a nominal fee. This would also drive more return customers.
What's great about it: User Friendly
What's not so great: Time-Consuming

easiest tax year ever

I started my return at 2pm. done by 9 pm. I have 2 businesses, 8 w-2's and file in two states. cant believe i'm done.
What's great about it: easiest to use program. better than block
What's not so great: none.
