Good process has some flaws

I've been using TurboTax for 4 years now, obviously I like it. I think it's reliable...BUT to a certain level you do have to understand some tax lingo and read, read, read. Then there's the questions that I could be spared from. For instance, instead of just knowing the information you tell them at the beginning, such as marital status or no. of children, there will be questions along the way of, does this apply to you? If I've told you my status, you should know if it applies to me.
AND I could do without all the intermittent ads and the reverse positioning of all the "yes" and "no" buttons. Stop trying to upsell and confuse ppl, taxes are stressful enough.
What's great about it: Easy to read
What's not so great: Needs more customization, less ads

Simple forms

TurboTax is the most updated filing software I have used. It is timely and accurate with its documentation and provide hands on examples to get through the most complicated areas. This is especially true for Dividend reporting. A recommendation would be to show % of completion based on prior year(s) submissions as to how many forms need to be completed.
What's great about it: TurboTax offers simplified format with excellent "walk-through" steps for completing both Federal and State returns.
What's not so great: Would like to see reduced State e-filing rates.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Turbo Tax is very easy to use and understand. It goes in catagories for you to put everything together with explaination of each. If you don't have everything you need at the time, you can save everything and come back later. When you are finished, your taxes are calculated and what your risk is to be audited. Any places that need to be filled in are highlighted and allows you to find the information. It was very easy todo taxes this year and every year!
What's great about it: If I had all my info together, I probably would have been done in an hour or less.
What's not so great: I didn't find anything wrong.

TurboTax makes filing easy. It just gives you a step by step process and guides you thru everything you need to enter on your tax form. The software provides explainations for certain terms, so you do not need to understand tax lingo. TurboTax helps you interpret and decide what you need to enter for your return. TurboTax has updates so you know it has the lasted forms and tax requirments. Thank you TurboTax for making doing my taxes easier! Now if you can help with procrastination...I would love tax time!
What's great about it: Like how they enter previous tax info and how you can have your investment download in

i have been using Turbo Tax since I started working and having to do taxes. My mom has used it as long as i can remember and told me it was the best and easy to use as it went step by step...
What's great about it: Very easy to use and fast...
