Made it easy

Overall, I like using Turbo Tax, as the step by step process is nice, especially with the note window that bookmarks places I need to go back to.
I do wish the non-covered cost basis issues were a little more clear in the help...finally after some online searching I got it figured out...otherwise I would have been done sooner.
What's great about it: walking through step by step
What's not so great: not clear instructions for Non-covered sales

Turbo Tax lighten my tax preparation load

No matter how much you think you know taxes, every year IRS appears to have a new regulation you need to be current on. Turbo Tax updates appears to catch these new rules/regulations and makes it easier for even the seasoned preparer to have a more accurate return.
What's great about it: Walked you through the deduction details.
What's not so great: Easier ability to view what ifs.

I really enjoy using TurboTax every year. It is usually painless and easy way to file.

Same Consistent and Simple

I was upset that the price continues to go up on this software, but I have to say that the program is simple and easy to use. I can't live without the importing of 2011 information and the cues for INT and DIVs that have been entered in the past . I do wish they would allow you to view your 2011 taxes throughout the entire program for reference. There probably is a way, but I couldn't find it. I always like to double check to see if there is anything dramatically different between 2011 and 2012 and I don't want to have it available throughout the program.
What's great about it: Everything was similar to last year. Taxes done in an hour.
What's not so great: I wish there was and easy way to view 2011 taxes throughout the program.

The easy guide makes it very easy to complete your tax return. Just follow through to cover everything that might apply to your return.
