quick refund

I liked the way the software worked until it found a few errors. It then jumped into the actual tax form and asked for additional input which took some time to figure out. I had to dig up an older tax form and compare to it and then do some hunting through to find the line that was being referred to from the line with the error.
What's great about it: walks step by step through process
What's not so great: when errors were found I didn't have enough details to understand the issue.

User Friendly

I found using TurboTax much easier than I imagined and I felt comfortable that I was getting the best possible return on my taxes. I was a little un-easy about filing myself but the user-friendliness was much more than what I had thought. It was a little time consuming but then again this was my first time. Hopefully next year will go faster as all my information is now stored in my computer. yes I will be filing taxes like this again next year.
What's great about it: I liked how TurboTax walked me through the process and looked for all deductions possible

I like the way Turbo Tax walks you through everything. There are clear explanations and it makes filing your taxes as painless as possible.

Quick and easy

I have been using quicken ONLINE for a few years. I tried the cd version again but the online one is much easier and automatically imports last years info without having to go look for it. The data is always there. I think the cd version will save online too but just not as globally accessible. As for TurboTax itself I think it is number one and have not found anything close to it. Even has an online forum while filling out the taxes.
What's great about it: Covers almost all deductions and triggers on mistakes
What's not so great: accidentally saying 100.00 and 10000 might not get caught
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

No need to improve a good thing

I have been using Turbo tax for years and each year it gets easier and easier. It helps to identify gaps even when I forget. Love this tool!

New to taxes - this is the only way!

New to the whole tax thing, Turbo Tax looks for things I wouldn't know about - like the student credits! I didn't think I would get a dime back - I was wrong - I got back a bunch!
