So Easy To Use!!!

Turbo tax takes the pain out of doing your taxes. Just follow the steps, enter the appropriate information, and you are done! You can even e-file to get your refund back earlier. So fast, so easy! Worth every penny!
What's great about it: Easy, Walked Through Each Step, Fixed My Errors
What's not so great: Still had to pay taxes :( (But got a great refund!)

Fingers Crossed This Year

Kept making the same mistake with Cost Basis for our different funds held by our financial planner. Turbo Tax helped me get the information corrected with the IRS but couldn't help me not make the mistake in the first place. Keeping my fingers crossed that my financial planner's help will avoid the mistake again.
What's great about it: Helpful tax consultants for correcting an error in previous years taxes
What's not so great: shouldn't have been able to make the mistake in the first place
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Maybe Not Painless But Definitely Easy

Paying taxes is bad enough. Why make it worse? Use Turbo Tax!
Filing is easy, taking only a few hours, if that. Just have your records gathered--and if you don't, just save your work and come back to it later once you have everything in order.
What's great about it: Step-by-step process, almost like holding your hand
What's not so great: Don't always understand the questions because they relate to things that do not apply to me.

great help

The over all experience was good. It does help me feel more secure about how I file.
What's great about it: there were new forms that I recieved from income. Turbo tax walked me through it easily.
What's not so great: I did have to click on areas to find certain form # so I kow I was in the right place. such as , form 1099-r

Easy Peasy

I used to go to a CPA. The cost kept rising and my own prep work became much more detailed. One year when planning to file an extension in march because of their office rules, the CPA jokingly said well "or you could file your own with Turbo tax" I said good idea and have every since. Thank you
What's great about it: well thought out flow. Easy to understand prompts
What's not so great: no cons. I use Turbo Tax every year

Honestly, I haven't used other products. But I'm so happy w TurboTax that I have no incentive to explore. Is that consumer confidence -- or naivete?
What's great about it: import last year data, flip between step-by-step and forms
What's not so great: did not auatomatically process Wis married couple credit

I have been using Turbo tax since it started around 1983, it has not only been easy, but I have always gotten a higher refund than when doing it myself. Excellent!
What's great about it: Easy to use with pop-up help windows for definitions, or clarification
What's not so great: None, and have been using Turbo tax since it started around 1983

Easy

A tax preparer filed taxes for our parents. He needed to see our tax return and was impressed with the records and detail in TurboTax. I've used the program for about 10 years and it is incredibly easy to use. The program makes the convoluted tax laws easier to understand.
What's great about it: Easy and guided interview really helps.
What's not so great: None
