Even with not being able to transfer my data from last years taxes due to computer crash, it was so easy to enter my info and get done quickly.

Turbotax made filing quick

I like Turbotax, as it transfers my info from last year's return, thus making filing faster. It also reminds me of what I claimed for my last year's deductions, which again make filing for this year faster.

What's great about it: Transferred info from last year's return
What's not so great: TurboTax kept claiming a business expense for me in NJ return when I don't have a business.

Very quick and easy

I had something different this year, a distribution from an estate with a Schedule K-1. Turbo tax knew about this form and easily stepped me through transferring the data from it to my tax forms. If I had tried to do this manually it would have taken me hours to research how to handle this form.

FORM 1041 K-1 TRANSFERS STATE TAXES PAID FROM BOX 14 TYPE H. BUT, THERE IS NO GUIDANCE ON TRANSFERRING BROKER MARGIN INTEREST PAID OR OTHER FORM 1041 EXPENSES DEDUCTED FOR A PASS-THRU 1041 ENTITY. THE 1041 IRS INSTRUCTIONS ARE ALSO UNCLEAR.
