I'm very disappointed in 2012 Turbotax. It is almost impossible to print return. Next year I will use a different company's software for tax preparation.
What's great about it: Easy to Use Turbotax
What's not so great: Does not print returns easily.

Great program - would be better if at least 1 State "E-File" would be free.

The constant upgrade attempts are very annoying. As well as the e-file and the direct deposit, gift card, etc. Last year we fell for the state e-file and it cost us money from the refund and our personal information was hacked at the state level. Now we have to participate in identity protection and monitor our credit continuously. Just cut the gimmicks and print the forms.
What's great about it: Accurate and flows well. I like the explore on my own feature
What's not so great: I hate the upgrade and e file attempts. Quit asking "am I sure"

I do not like how turbo tax added the processing fee! This was done last year and it was the first time I noticed it. Why and what is the fee for? processing what?

Had trouble with Capital gain distribution on Schedule D. Data not transferred to Line 13...1040. Had to "override" entry.
When printing, allow for "gaps" between Fed and State return.. (A blank page)
Also vouchers printed back to back on same paper..Voucher 2 was on opposite side of Voucher 3. Can't send both at same time.
What's not so great: Had trouble with Capital gains distribution and Schedule D

Gets better every year

I have been using Turbo Tax pretty much since it's been available to the general public. Really a great product and easy to understand for the most part. I like the option of being able to have the program walk me through the different options without having to jump all over the place.
What's great about it: For the most part, pretty straight forward and easy to use.
What's not so great: Wish I didn't have to wait for it to go on sale. Price is usually pretty high.

Great Tax Experience

I have used TurboTax every year for quite a while. It gets easier each year. I worked my way through college doing taxes for others and felt No ONE could match my tenacity and expertise. Then, I met TurboTax and have been sold ever since.
What's great about it: Ease of use / Everything
