Got It Done On Time!

Henceforth, I will keep my personal Schwab account under separate user ID and password to solve the problem outlined above. Other than that things went quite smoothly.
What's great about it: Downloading information from Charles Schwab was a big help.
What's not so great: I had to erase all of my mother's account transfer information because her account is coupled with my personal account.

Turbodacious!

Over 20 years ago a financial adviser "wowed" me as he used Turbo Tax to prepare tax returns for clients. Now... Turbo Tax is the exclusive tax software in our home!
With Turbo Tax we don't waste time, we don't waste money and we don't wade through a maze of paper filing a hard copy return.
Refunds come weeks faster when we e-file and we don't pay high tax preparation fees!
Do the math.... Turbo Tax minus Stacks Of Forms plus E-Filing minus Waiting For Refunds equals No Income Tax Filing Frustration!
Turbodacious!

More than adequate for my needs

I have a pretty simple return, I no longer itemize because I don't have any loans, but appreciate the thorough probing to make sure all relevant items are included. I've been using TurboTax ever since it was available for Mac, known as MacInTax.
What's great about it: Easy Step doesn't miss a thing
What's not so great: Hard to find further information - search feature returns too many irrelevant hits

Turbo tax is very easy to use and tskes me one short evening to to complete. I love all the questions and wouldn't buy another service to do it myself.
What's great about it: Asked me many questions to get me thinking.
What's not so great: Not enough questions for teachers

I utilized Turbotax last year and loved it. Loved it again this year. I will definitely buy it again in the future!
What's great about it: Very easy to work with and comprehensive
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I moved

A few holes

Very annoying to have to enter the mailing addresses for all the INT, DIV, R, G payers. This is not required on the tax forms.
I needed to enter federal/state withholding on unemployment compensation, it didn't ask for it. I had to invent a withholding.
Very annoying to enter detailed charitable contributions. The tax forms do not require that level of detail.
Had to enter car registration amount, even though the program knew that it was not deductible.
Don't like that it defaults giving $6 to the presidential fund
Entered a 1099-DIV, when it ran an error check, it failed because it was called a 1099-INT.
What's great about it: easy to use
What's not so great: No way to enter federal/state withholding on unemployment compensation
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments
