I have used TurboTax for at least 10 years now and will continue to use it. I love how it takes me through items Im not sure of by the question and answer sessions. This makes it very user friendly.

2012 Tax Return

i have used this program for my personal taxes for 15+ years and have never had a problem. love that it incudes the deductible calculations for clothing donations...although tricky at first to use, it is really helpful.
What's great about it: no surprises, but maybe more detailed questions
What's not so great: after completing one section (i.e. deductions) you have to scroll down to get to next section
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Gets Easier Each Year

I am retired and the thought of completing my tax returns has always been a threatening process. This year, I punched in the numbers; paid my Federal tax, on-line via credit card; and, New York state will deposit my refund directly into my checking account. No lines at the P.O.; no stamps. I completed the whole process from my living room ! You guys are really good at this.
What's great about it: I have been using TurboTax for the past six years. This was, by far, the most streamlined process of all !
What's not so great: No Problems.

Not as intuitive as I thought it would be

We had non standard income and it was very confusing. Took several trys to get the right combination so it would account for it correctly.

Turbo Tax is Sweet & Easy! no other tax preparation software has the experiences or the simple U/I to get you through your taxes!

I still can't believe the hours spent hunched over those confusing worksheets and forms before Turbo Tax...The writers of the program are geniuses for making tax prep straight-forward, simple and so painless!! Thank you accounting geniuses!!

My husband & I have used TurboTax for a number of years. Really like the ease of use of it. I recommend it to all of our friends.
What's great about it: Very easy to use.
What's not so great: Do wish it allowed e-filing when you have more then one 2106 to include.
