makes paying taxes less painful

excellent product
What's great about it: the automatic calculation of taxes on the fly as data is entered
What's not so great: the menu questionnaires are a bit cumbersome in that jumping around is not as easy
Pros: I moved, My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

I appreciate the carryover from year to year, as well as yearly comparisons. carryover of info saves time, improves accuracy.
What's great about it: seems to cover all the bases.

It covers all aspects of the tax return. I can't imagine how it could be easier to follow. There are a couple places where additional exlanation would be helpful; e.g., the typer of retirement income. Overall, I've been using Turbo Tax for 15+ years (my first version was on multiple 3-1/4" floppy disks) and I plan on continuing to use it.
What's great about it: Easy to follow - step-by-step
What's not so great: Sometimes it's hard to find backup informationj

I have used Turbo Tax for a few years now & nice cost savings if you want to invest the time to self prepare. Very easy program to navigate - good step by step help
