Love TurboTax!

I've been a TurboTax user for many years. I've never had a problem. The interviewing methodology makes it easy to get the information in the right places. I would recommend it to anyone.
What's great about it: Way less expensive than a CPA, and interview style makes it easy.

2012 Return

Overall. It is a very helpful software for organizing and preparing a personal return.
What's great about it: Easily transfers prior year return. Gives explanations on deductions. I like the option to view forms and prior year.
What's not so great: It would be nice to have more than a 2-year comparison

Functionality seems to be moving sideways

I've been using Turbo Tax for years and have been happy enough with it to keep coming back, but every year I find a number of features of the program frustrating.
Basically you have two choices when TT starts collecting your info, either you can use their step-by-step wizard which leads you through every income item and deduction, or you can use the a la carte method of picking your topics from a list. It seems to me that there should be a middle road that takes you directly to the items that applied the previous year.
TT imports the above info, but it remains largely hidden from view for some reason.
My other main beef is that TT gets further and further away from the forms as the years roll on and I'm not sure this is the best strategy. You can still get to the forms if you click on the forms button, but it's clear that they would really rather not have you poke around in there.
That's it. It also would be nice if they would include the price of the e-file for the state return in the bundled federal and state "deluxe" product (they pay to efile the federal but not the state.
What's great about it: Good, stable software that completes it's intended task
What's not so great: Seems like every year it gets a bit more arcane and further away from it's connection to the forms

A great product. I have used TurboTax for about 10 years. TurboTax has helped to make the income tax process less painful, and less work. Thanks!
What's great about it: Led me step by step through all categories of income as well as deductions.
What's not so great: under expenses, it might be nice to include "recurring monthly" (just my thought)

I HAVE BEEN USING TURBO TAX SINCE TIME IMMEMORIAL WHICH PROVIDED THE LATEST TAX RULES THAT HELPED MY FAMILY OF 7 TO GET THE MOST IN TAX BENEFITS.
What's great about it: EASY TO USE
What's not so great: DID NOT COME WITH FREE STATE E-FILING
