Woohoo my taxes are filed!

I use turbotax because it is easy to use and the program prompts me to remember the relevant deductions and to be complete with reporting my income. I like the ease of filing, too.
What's great about it: Turbotax is easy to use and helpful
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

While I've used TT for many years, the multistate option was a bit difficult to assign one spouse to one state and one state to partial states.
What's great about it: easy update / easy filling
What's not so great: cross linked forms not always easy to understand

Not what is used to be

yes, I finished my tax forms once again using turbo tax. Seems like it is not as good as it has been in the past. One thing I did discover is that if you have a question and want to talk to somebody you are out of luck. Just try to find a number for someone to talk to....Just take your best shot and continue....Might look for other options next year...

Another Easy Year with T-Tax

Been using Turbo-Tax since before I can remember (80's maybe). Tried CPA in 2010 but found working with Turbo Tax to be even easier. Also like being able to access old returns right from backup hard drive.

Printing problems

You do not provide print buttons for the reports you show like comparison report, summary report etc. I had to write things down by hand. Even the right lick don't work to print the required page. BIG pitfall in your program.

My tax experience

I love doing my own taxes with the help of Turbo Tax. Makes me feel more independent and knowledgable. I also like being able to complete everything from the comfort of my home in a single work day.
What's great about it: Lots of help!
What's not so great: occassional confusion - usually mine!

TurboTax Experience

I like TurboTax and use it every year because it is easy and simple. The software has many guides and instructions to make sure you don't miss your deductions or make common tax mistakes that may put you at odds with IRS. Will continue to use it.
What's great about it: The software save me time. It is easy and simple.
