My experience with TurboTax 2012

I've been using TurboTax to walk me through my federal and state tax returns since 1999 and I have never been disappointed with the completeness of my return. The program guides me through my income, credits and deductions with ease. l plan to keep using TurboTax for years to come.
What's great about it: TurboTax walked me through all of the income and deduction sections with ease.
What's not so great: Scrolling all the way to the bottom of the income and deduction sections as interview progresses.

This is at least my 10th year with Turbotax. I gather my info, load it on and WAIT for the last k-1 form. Now waiting for refund to show up in my bank account.
What's great about it: Can do my own or follwo instructions

State return is lacking sufficient links to line by line instructions. Nwever really feel comfortable whether State return is completed properly.

One step at a time easy. In case I did not understand, there are links to definitions. And if things are really unclear for me, I had someone I could talk to. Takes all the stress out of the dreaded annual tax filling.

What's great about it: pretty self explanitory
What's not so great: have to scroll up and down alot
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Been using Turbo Tax forever!

I have been using Turbo Tax for as long as I can remember. I prepare my Mother-in-law's tax stuff for her accountant. I essentially answer the same questions Turbo Tax asks.... she just pays her accountant a lot more than Turbo Tax costs!!
What's great about it: It is easy
What's not so great: I don't like the print function - do we really need so many related articles to sort through?

Always a smooth experience

I have used this prep service for years now and have never had a problem understanding anything while doing my taxes, people actually think I am smart because I do my own taxes and I tell them it turbo tax that does all the work.
What's great about it: Step by step the whole way.
