Made the difficult, easy!

Tax prep for me is always a daunting task, but Turbo Tax has changed that into something I don't fear anymore. i'm confident that the calculations are accurate and the reminders are helpful. The fact that it carrys over all of the important data from the previous years make the forms go quickly. The explanations are straightforward and linked to allow more in-depth help if needed. I would not use anything else!

While I don't look forward to completing my taxes on an annual basis, Turbo Tax's ease of use facilitated a smooth entry and completion of both my federa and state tax returns.
I appreciate the continued checking for updates to the software.

Absolutely LOVE Turbo Tax!!

I have used Turbo Tax for several years now and am happy to say that my children have now reached an age where they can do their own taxes. They have fought me on the subject of doing their own taxes, yet my daughter broke down and did her own this year. She was amazed at the ease of use and was mad at how much she paid for her returns last year. Also, she had to amend last years returns because the "experts" didn't do them correctly and she was able to find the answers she needed at Turbo Tax. Thanks. :)
What's great about it: efficient, easy, able to amend last years taxes with ease.
What's not so great: somethimes it is hard to search for a specific subject.

Turbotax experience

I had difficulty in regards to education credits which was not very very intuitive. Barring this the rest of the stuff was a cakewalk.

Great help at good price

Turbo Tax provides a very good program for people who still prefer to do their own taxes. I have used it for many years now and have been impressed with the continual improvement in scope and sophistication. User friendliness has also improved greatly. I can recommend this program to those with a familiarity with personal tax preparation and who do not wish to turn the job over to sometimes questionably trained tax preparers. It does a good job with investments that are not too arcane or complex. On the whole it saves a lot of time and gives one confidence that nothing significant has been missed.
What's great about it: Covers most topics in depth with good explanations. State returns greatly improved.
What's not so great: Not for the total novice, must be quite familiar with personal tax preparation.

Easy to use

I definitely will recommend Turbo Tax to friends and family. It's quick, and easy to use. Helps you understand everything that goes into filing your taxes. It was nice to get back more then I thought I would this year. I liked the links to show what something is, and where you could find it.
What's great about it: If I didn't know what something was there was a link to explain it.
What's not so great: I didn't experience anything negative.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
