Turbo Tax Makes It Easy

I have been using Turbo Tax for several years now and have really come to appreciate the simplicity it affords me for filing both federal and state taxes. I really don't see me going elsewhere for filing taxes

Confidence in Turbo Tax

I've been using Turbo Tax for the past 16+ years and have always felt confident in filing my return. I've never had an audit even with reporting property and investments through Turbo Tax. It's easy to use and makes it an enjoyable experience to file taxes as I watch the return amount add up (except of course on those years I owe more at the end)!
What's great about it: Ease use and confidence in results
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Thank goodness for tax software. Its gotten almost impossible to do your taxes by hand any more, even for fairly vanilla returns. TurboTax carried last year's information forward nicely as always. I appreciate the ability to switch back and forth between the guided question/answer sequences and going right to where I need to be. Some of the help panels could be a little more specific/detailed. Would also like to see a more direct tie-in with appropriate Fed and State publications in each section. Seeing last year's data displayed for each major section is also helpful in terms of (a) understanding how this year might be different, and (b) increasing the probability of not forgetting any pertinent data. eFile was painless and fast. Only real issue I encountered was that it chose to file fed form 5329 for what it initially thought was a premature 401(k) distribution. It ultimately got the right answer (not a premature distribution) but it didn't need to file the form to show that. Bug fixes / form updates get issued almost up to the tax filing deadline, so you can't really file super early... you have to wait until most of the significant problems are discovered and fixed.
What's great about it: Data carried forward, see last year's data, accurate computations
What's not so great: Bug reporting and access to Fed + State tax publications could be easier

Painless process for the 6th year. And I've never been audited!
What's great about it: I love doing it gradually, late at night by myself.
What's not so great: I'm always afraid I missed something.

Turbo Tax is the greatest tool...no worries and all the refund you could possibly get!

Taxes done easy

I have used TurboTax for years and have been very happy with it. Every form I have mailed to me from various companies has a home with this software. I bought a house, sold stock and had unemployment all this year and it was easy to add all that in!
What's great about it: Turbo Tax walked me through everything I needed. Done in a little over an hour

confident, happy day

I have been using TURO TAX since I got my first computer in 1992. Obviously I am satisfied with the product. Last year w/ my computer on its last breath I had to download the software after buying the pkg. (Didn't know my drives were dead) Your staff was very helpful. Only one thng concerns me - the blank form listing my IRAs failed to list the amounts of the RMD - or any amount for that matter. Why?
What's great about it: asked all the right questions
What's not so great: question of why some forms are incomplete

Not as Painful as I Thought!

It's great that I can return to my tax work at any time and not have to flip through a pile of different paperwork to find what I'm looking for. Also, having used it in previous years, much of my info was already stored so I didn't have to type in a lot of data. And I could compare my numbers from the year before.
What's great about it: Loved how I could e-file the returns and set up my bank info. to pay tax due AND for depositing my state refund.
