Have used the program for quite a few years and have had no problems with understanding the program or filling out the information. One improvement needed is to allow entry of a 6 digit ID theft pin for each taxpayer on the joint form. IRS sends this pin, be it for the primary or secondary taxpayer and you MUST use it to have your return accepted. Your explanation on how to get around the 5 digit program limit is too vague. Just make it where it will accept the 6 digits in the first place. With the number of ID theft cases being processed by IRS, this is an ever increasing problem - don't add to it by limiting your program. Thank you

If you go through all the questions, the Easy Guide, you will cover everything.
What's great about it: Do it yourself at your own pace.
What's not so great: Takes some experience to navigate quickly.

Been using program since its conception and it just seems to get easier and easier to use each year. If you don't just scim the questions assumming you know what they're asking, and really read all information provided by the program, you will get the best there is out of the program. Love it!!

Overall this is a easy to use software package. My only complaint is the rather high cost to e-file the state forms.

After creating a spreadsheet with all of my sales taxes and medical expenses and sorting them accordingly, it made it much easier to complete the return. I am grateful for all the questions TT asks because it would be so easy to misinterpret exactly what needs to be provided. Thank you Turbo Tax. We have used you for many years and will continue to do so.
What's great about it: great for step by step processing even when you itemize
What's not so great: would like to see more queries with charitable contributions
