Excellent program. I use it every year, which makes it easier with the pre-fill setup.
What's great about it: Excellent overall.
What's not so great: Cannot think of any.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Did my taxes

I refinanced my mortgage this year and found that section of the program a bit confusing. I don't know if the point/origination fee was being paid off throughout the mortgage as opposed to at settlement, but the money was for the house and not home improvements, so I picked that option. I'm also not sure if there should have been any other deductions or what not for anything else concerning the refinancing of the mortgage. Additionally, I sometimes had trouble determining whether something applied to me when reimbursements were involved.
What's great about it: cheaper than paying someone else to do it
What's not so great: some of it was confusing

So much easier to use than last year!!! Biggest improvements in many years and we have used you for over 15 years.
What's great about it: Menus were a lot eaiser to follow, less tax-speak
What's not so great: I wish deductions came first so each entry afterwards would be a positive

Great product but you need to let people know what support documents (W-2, W-9, etc.) that they need before starting a section. Having exactly what you need and in what order would make the process so much easier and quicker.
Another great ideas would be a check list of all needed support documents used for last year's Turbotax filing.
The more complicated the filing the more you need the support guideline that I am recommending.
I have business in two states. I would like the option to choose which state I use the free state filing with.

Turbo Tax is Easy

I love using Turbo Tax. It is simple and user friendly. Stepping through each section of the return and ensuring all possible deductions are utilized. I recommend Turbo Tax to all my friends!
What's great about it: Turbo Tax walks you throught step by step for all deductions

Taxes Made Easy

Third year using Turbo Tax and have found it easy to use for both Federal and State tax filing. Especially liked the way it walks you through the process and gives you updates as you go so there are no surprizes at the end.

TT helps me minimize my taxes by letting me itemize deductions with confidence. lt also helps me with my very small business deductions.
I like the way it saves me time by remembering all the details from last year.
Pros: I bought or sold investments
