Price, I always think it should be less.
What's great about it: Info and data is pulled directly from last year's file.

2012 Taxes

- sometimes the smaller windows with detailed explanation some times do not answer all my questions. If I need a definition of a word, I have to call you.
- I wish there were things based on my returns and profile that you might suggest to me to LOOK INTO for the next year that might help me to get a larger review. Example; IRA's if you could say to me: If you would have saved $3,000 in your IRA this year you would have received a large tax benefit for $1,000 for your 1012 taxes.
-- Or consider buying property to get the mortgage deduction since your home is paid off. etc etc

What's great about it: Software is easy, helps me keep things sorted to not get overwhelmed, its just step by step.

Refund 2012

Turbo tax has really helped with some of the expenses associated with teaching. I often buy supplies for my classroom that I do not get reimbursed. I also take educational classes that are required to keep my teaching certificate.
What's great about it: The ability to see last years income & taxes was great!

What's great about it: Quick downloading of Tax Data
What's not so great: Have to Scroll to Bottom each and every time you finish a section

I made it through the rain

This was a rough year and I was afraid of this whole tax ordeal. TurboTax made it as painless as I think I could possibly be. The step by step guide was very reassuring and I did like the little reviews as we went along. At least I had an idea of whether or not I was still on the right path.
What's great about it: I like having the guide take me through and help me through the pain
What's not so great: I'd like to see the "table of contents" of what to expect straight up. I wasn't always sure where to put information
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Tax Preparation Experience

Turbo Tax made difficult tax preparation easier. Knowing that mathematical calculations are correct and need not be a concern is comforting. Each time I questioned if I had placed income or expenses in the proper place, the followup questions either assured me or directed me to the proper place. Preparation of taxes is always stressful, but Turbo Tax made it less so.
What's great about it: Easy entry and continuous mathematical calculation update.
What's not so great: Slow loading, unnecessary requests to upgrade.

Easy and Intuitive

Every year I put off my taxes to the last minute, and ever year I vow to get them done sooner. Inevitably, I did them late this year, but with Turbo Tax the only reason to do it earlier is to get your money earlier. It's so easy you can wait!
What's great about it: Quick and guided user experience
