I believe some of the questions were a Little confusing this Year. More than in the last 4 Years.
What's great about it: Asked all the right questions.
What's not so great: Waited until I wanted to transmit and started throwing up Changes.

It's the first time I file taxes in the US, Turbo Tax has been extremely helpful: I just needed to follow the clear steps proposed by the program and... I was done!
What's great about it: Easy to fill, clear and neat

1st Time Homebuyer Section Confusing
on April 13, 2013

Friend reviewed to unclick something I had selected earlier. That was showing as error. Should be clearer and cleaner way to indicate you did not claim a credit for something.
What's great about it: Speed, review of credits
What's not so great: Could not understand why homebuyer credit came up

One Huge Sticking Point

I have been a fan of TT for many years - almost have fun doing the taxes! (I do miss the earlier days though, when they'd add little fun things like - hang in there, one more question and we'll be done with this section.) But this was my first year of using the HSA section and it had me hung up for hours. Very confusing! TT, please take a look at that section and improve it. You may know what you are doing, but since we can't see behind the scenes, it just doesn't look like it's being calculated correctly to the user.
What's great about it: 95% was easy to use as always - love it!
What's not so great: HSA Section was super confusing
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Just one quibble...

Solid, easy-to-use product. I have used TurboTax for many years, and will continue to use it. My only concern is that when filing amended returns for the State of Minnesota, TurboTax does not retain/transfer entries for contributions to the Nongame Wildlife Fund. Thus, the paperwork generated by TurboTax for M1X forms is always off by whatever amount you may have contributed to the NWF in your original M1.
What's great about it: Easy to use, comprehensive
What's not so great: Drops info in amended MN returns

Good product for most, needs improvement for me

Haved used Turbo Tax for years. Love the import from previous year's taxes, the immediate calculations, and the ability to flip between forms and step-by-step. However, I have been earning wages in California while a resident of Oregon for 4 years, and Turbo Tax does not handle multiple states well. I am getting better by writing notes to myself for the next year, but the disconnect between the states' data still causes me to vent aloud sometimes. I now do Oregon first - TurboTax has a note about this, maybe it was there 4 years ago and I didn't see it. It doesn't display or even suggest amounts to fill in for California that I know it has, because I go to Forms to get the number from my Oregon form. When I look for help #email support would be fine, I've used it before#, all I could find was community or pay extra. My questions are not simple, community help won't do.
What's great about it: Immediate calculations based on entries
What's not so great: Multiple states processing is problematic, and real help is non-existent

GOOD EXPERIENCE, just small confusion on NJ / NY
on April 13, 2013

I've used Turbo Tax for five years now; but this year I had income earned in NY unlike prior years. The questions regarding excluding / including the information on the return were not intuitive at all. The FAQ's showed that I was not alone in my confusion but the answers were not there or were not helpful. I suggest that this area be re-worked for next year
What's great about it: Most of the questions are quite clear and it is easy to find information to enter.
What's not so great: Clarity around treatment of NY income / NJ resident was not clear to me or many others
Pros: I moved, My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments
