Great tool

Great tool! Helpful and educational. I am glad I started to use it. I strongly recommend it to others.
What's great about it: Self-guided, easy to navigate, helpful, quite detailed, informative

Here is really my only issue: A bit more info about deductions is needed. Example, I refinanced a home loan. It wasn't evident when I selected the :I paid this loan off in this year" button that I would get to claim the remaining ten years of origination points remaining. It gave the same response it have given me the last 20 years, "you can deduct $156". But once I completed the entire mortgage process and the rest of the return, I got credit for basically $156 X 10. I had to print the forms to track down where I was getting the gain. Wish it showed you what would occur behind the process/step. Maybe a button that allowed you to quickly view the worksheet so you could understand the process while you are working through the return.
What's great about it: Easy to use, if you start each section finds things you may have missed.
What's not so great: A bit more info about the deductions and what the results would be.

Excellent as usual

I have been using TurboTax for almost 30 years and have been very happy with it ever sense. I did try some competitive products a couple of times but wasn't happy with those products. It takes you through easy steps or you can manage some of the flow if you like, either way I'll be using it again next year.
What's great about it: Doesn't make me think too much
What's not so great: Don't always know why i do/don't get certain deductions

Easy even for me!

I'm not a numbers person but even I find it easy to navigate through TT. I've been using it for years and wouldn't think of switching.
What's great about it: Easy to follow; clear directions; help really helps.
What's not so great: Expensive; seems to go up every year.

TurboTax makes filing easy, and I'm confident that everything is correct and that I've made the most of my return.
What's great about it: Stepped through all the key parts of the return. Gave explanations when I didn't get credits I thought I might otherwise
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

I really like getting my taxes done this way. My suggestion is to have you figuration ready and have your AGI from last year to make the process faster.
