Done and No Worries!

I have used Turbo Tax for many years now and have never been dissatisfied. The fact that Turbo Tax have evolved and improved over the years has gained my confidence in its use.
What's great about it: User Intuitive and peace of mind

2012: Not the end of the world

It had been a while since I filed taxes and was not looking forward to beginning to take the needed steps to get back on track but this was very quick and painless and resulted in almost $2000 in refund.
Thanks Intuit for helping to lighten a heavy load from my chest.
What's great about it: Quick and Easy

Easy to Use

I've been using TurboTax for many years and I am very happy with the product. I am able to easily complete the taxes for several family members. I feel confident I have entered all the information correctly and the filing process is easy.
What's great about it: Step by step instructions
What's not so great: Some required questions not clearly explained
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Federal is okay.
Regarding the MI return:
The MI return almost made me lose a deduction. It didn't ask me to enter anything on line 17, Schedule 1. In fact, it breezed me through the whole return.
Also kind of annoying that it refused to efile for some details that I was unable to fix (e.g. asking me for a tax ID for a line with zero withholding on Schedule W.

Great Filing Opportunity

So User Friendly, Better Every Year

no complaints about Turbo Tax whatsoever. Just wish there were more economical ways to pay taxes online that did not have TPA fees attached.
What's great about it: guides are easy to follow, links to helpful info are appreciated
What's not so great: wish the fees for paying taxes via credit card were lower

It would be helpful to alphabetize the names of financial business and charity organizations on all the itemized schedules.

I have used TurboTax for well over a decade. It has almost always been incredibly simple to use, especially when just using the Easy Guide feature. Simply answering questions, in order of the form being currently worked on, makes the process very easy to use.
What's great about it: Always laid out in an easy format
What's not so great: Perhaps a little more in the way of help answers
Pros: I bought or sold investments
