If it was not for the problems on the updates that needed to be done on 2012, i would say it is a wonderful experience

Tired of duplicate entries

I had to input the same data too many times. (I actually lost count of # of times my email had to be input). I just don't understand why multiple entries of the same data is required so many times. At a minimum, the system should pull up your prior input and then ask for confirmation.
When transfer of prior year data doesn't work, there should be a simple way to key in data from prior year paper return.
I'm not the only one; my brother in law had the same exact problem.

Got it done and getting refund

I liked it all.
What's great about it: I likes everythng abut theis program. It gave me a chance to get all in properly and correct misakes, if i made any.
What's not so great: Don't know of any, because I have never used anothr program.

I generally like Turbo tax. have used it for years. this year big issue with locating infomation/ support for tax related/ program issue.
What's great about it: quick to complete simple routine items
What's not so great: difficult to locate non standard info

Whew! Just Finished and Got a Refund

Overall a great program for preparing your income tax. Detail guidance really takes you through the whole process step by step. The review process lets to take a look at where you are and what you have entered. If you used Turbo Tax in the previous year, the two year comparison, showing you what you entered last year compared to this years entries is a great help in reminding you what to look for and to double check to see if you had missed a deduction. If you have all your records in order, you can do your taxes in less than 3 hours.
What's great about it: Turbo Tax guided me through the whole process and kept reminding me of what to do.
What's not so great: Needed a little more explanation for some small home office expense deductions.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

First year I had any problems

I have used Turbo Tax for several years and this is the first time I have had any trouble. When I clicked the wrong thing by mistake, it would not let me correct it. I thought it was corrected, but when I would get to the review, the error was still there. I ended up going back through to the beginning and checking everything and re-doing the section that contained the error.
What's great about it: Convenient and easy
What's not so great: had trouble fixing a mistake, I almost had to start over for one simple thing I clicked by mistake
