Turbo Tax 2012

I've used Turbo Tax for the last few years and the program is worth it. I changed computers this year so I was not able to import last year's data. It would be nice to see the final review in the form of a completed 1040 and related forms. Thanks.
What's great about it: I liked the overall layout, the step-by-step pages, and review loop
What's not so great: Could not see overall review, similar to reviewing a completed 1040; also, only PDF option

Less Stress with Turbo Tax!

I like the program, it makes filing taxes easy and less stressful, gives us good ideas and can easily have them answered all in one sitting
What's great about it: They walk you through every possibly option

I have been using TurboTax for a long time. It makes filing so much easy and gives help all the way through. I am glad I started using this program.
What's great about it: Very easy to navigate and have help all the way through.
What's not so great: That you don't have free state e-file like the federal one.

Since this is the first time I have done this without an accountant (he retired) I am not sure about what is or is not allowable. But the software is easy to use and it did give me a result that was close to last year, so it may be okay. We will see.
What's great about it: does all the calculations
What's not so great: I don't see it doing he calculations

SAVED A BUNDLE

I SAVED AT LEAST $400 DOING MY OWN TAXES AND TWO OF MY GROWN CHILDREN'S TAXES. LAST YEAR, I SPENT OVER THAT AMOUNT HAVING THEM DONE BY A LOCAL CPA. TURBO TAX WALKED ME THROUGH EACH ONE, AND WHEN I HAD A QUESTION, I USED SEARCH AND HELP. THIS YEAR, I'M PAYING THE IRS, BUT I'M SURE IT'S CORRECT. AT LEAST I'M NOT ALSO PAYING A CPA! I AM ALMOST LOOKING FORWARD TO TAX TIME NEXT YEAR WHEN I CAN IMPORT A LOT OF INFO INSTEAD OF ENTERING IT MANUALLY. THANKS TURBO TAX.
What's great about it: EASE OF USE
What's not so great: ON REVIEW, WOULD LIKE TO SEE ACTUAL FORMS
