Not so great

The software lead me down the wrong path (not enough instructions) and I had to consult my financial planner for help. It also could not insert my school disctrict code, which I had to look up on line. Then there is an extra fee for audit protection, an extra fee to file State taxes, extra fee for additional help. Not worth it. I will take it to a tax service next year.
What's great about it: Being able to do it at my own speed.
What's not so great: Extra fees, lack of help

Maximize my refund

I have used TurboTax for several years which makes filing each year easier because of the import. I wish the program would allow the opening of older returns to create hard copies of misplaced returns. Also wish state e-filing was included with purchase.
What's great about it: Easy to use and file
What's not so great: include state filing with purchase

Fantastic Support From Turbo Tax

Turbo Tax is awesome. I have been using it for years. This is the first time i got stuck on an error. I contacted the help desk and they quickly helped me resolve the problem. You are crazy to use anything but Turbo Tax.
What's great about it: I got stuck with a business expense and the call center was of great help!

Just One Hic Up

When you revise a program you need to make sure all old parts still work. It worked last year but it did not work tonight
What's great about it: Every thing was easy and to the point. Directions were comprehensive and easy to follow
What's not so great: Now for the Hiccup. The program kept asking for zip code for employer. I am retired. Gave zip for my retirement plan.

Education Section Didn't Rock My World

The Education Section is so difficult. I spent hours here. I don't like having to guess on some answers, Im hoping for the best. Please work on this area. You assume that "we" know the answers to the questions you ask, but after I thought i got it, i left that page and thought "i have no idea what iam answering"!

Great Program

Great program if your taxes are relatively easy. We have used Turbo Tax for 5 years now. The year I did taxes on my own turned into a nightmare. Will always use turbo tax in the future.
What's great about it: Ease, helpful!
