EZ2 Use

Turbo Tax is the best software available to navigate through the complex requirements of the IRS tax filing system. The menus and input interfaces are simple and easy to use. Next steps are clearly indicated, and a running message board shows what is owed or will be refunded as information is entered. It is the only tax preparation software I look for each year.
What's great about it: Great graphical user interface with handy reference links
What's not so great: cant bring up 2 returns at once to cross-reference info

Always dependable

I have used the Turbo Tax system for 5 years and it is always been dependable. I like that even when our government can't get it right, turbo tax continually updates their site to keep you on top of things. It takes a lot of the stress out of filing your taxes.
What's great about it: Concise and easy to follow step by step directions
What's not so great: I still had to pay taxes to a government that keeps spending good money after bad
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Turbo Tax is a quick and easy way to file your taxes without paper forms. It takes you step by step through the deductions you are qualified for. I can't wait to use it when I have more explicit deductions.
What's great about it: easy to understand
What's not so great: Nothing

If Turbo tax could figure out a way to reduce hold time for call-in questions, that would be wonderful. Gave up and called IRS - which was actually shorter time wait.
Also would like the option to choose to e-file even if T-tax wants you to fix something. I didn't want to choose a certain credit, since it really doesn't apply to my situation, and it kicked me out of e-file. If the program could just give you the option whether to do things like that - things that don't effect the accuracy of the tax calculations, then that would be fantastic. Having to paper file is a true bummer.
What's great about it: Reliability of tax calculation
What's not so great: Long phone wait for help; picky e-file that doesn't allow overrides

What's great about it: relatively easy to use, seems thorough, we shall see
What's not so great: quirks with state return screen kicked me to a sales site, could be easier to navigate and transparent

TurboTax 2012 is Ah-mazing!!

I have using TurboTax for several years now and each time it has been a breeze.
What's great about it: I love the way you can import your 1099-Div and 1099-Int forms directly from my investment accounts
What's not so great: None I can think of.

I've used Turbo Tax for several years now and have had some of my returns reviewed by "The Pros". They have yet to find something that was missed.
What's great about it: Very easy to use, follow and make corrections.
