Caution required for IRAs

I used TurboTax to examine two different scenarios of whether I should recharacterize a Traditional IRA into a Roth IRA or not. I decided against doing so. In order to reset the information, I finally had to delete the form (in forms view) and start over.
The final results were correct, but TT will store information that you cannot see. So always double check the PDF or printed forms before e-filing!
What's great about it: 90 percent of return is easy
What's not so great: Special forms need to be carefully reviewed

Simple, Easy and Accurate

This is my 4th year using Turbo Tax, and it is fantastic. The entire process is simplified because Turbo Tax guides you through each and every step. As long as you have your documents handy, there's no other way to quickly and efficiently complete your annual income tax forms. THANK YOU, Turbo Tax!!!
What's great about it: Guided me through the process and made it easy to input my tax information.

OK but ...

I took my time and completed my return within two hours, but I never could get good instructions, or a Turbo Tax interview on how to handle worthless stock. That topic needs to be accessable in a direct fashion . I will probbly have to get a professional tax preparer to amend my 2012 return if I want to show a loss of $5000 on some now worthless stock I have, but this may not be worth the extra expense.
I have used turbo tax for over tens yeas now, and always have been quite satisfied and feel protected from the IRS by using your software.
What's great about it: Very easy to follow and understandable
What's not so great: Only one

Did my taxes at the last minute and finished up in an hour. Very easy to follow instructions. I love how information is carried over tofrom the previous year.

Helped with everything I needed to get ready with doing the taxes. It was very simple and easy to go through to do your taxes.
