What's great about it: step by step it walks you through it
What's not so great: just the complexity of the IRS returns!!

Simple and easy

The best part of the process comes in successive years, as your information is retained. All you have to do is change, add, and/or delete. This is particularly helpful with charitable deductions, as you don't have to retype the charities' names and addresses.
What's great about it: You're walked right through the process.

I've been a user of Turbo Tax for many years. Over the years I've seen improvements which make the dreaded tax filing much more tolerable.

GUT WRENCHING BE GONE!

THIS WAS SO EASY! I GET JUST SICK TO MY STOMACH AT TAX TIME, BUT THIS WALKED ME THROUGH EVERY STEP WITH SIMPLE INSTRUCTIONS AND HELP MENUS. SO MUCH EASIER THAN OTHER ON LINE SITES I HAVE TRIED. I AM A TRUE FAN!
What's great about it: WALKED ME THROUGH EVERY STEP OF THE WAY
What's not so great: VEHICLE MILEAGE SECTION COULD MAKE IT EASIER TO FIGURE BUSINESS MILES VS PERSONAL

I would love MORE guidance on how to search for more deductions if I find that I am having to pay the IRS. I donated clothing and household items to charity but never got a slip from those who picked it up. How do I claim that? How many of those curbside donations are allowed in a tax year? If I have to sell stock to pay for a wedding or other huge expense, how can I diminish my tax liability?
