I have come to trust Turbo Tax and would not think of using anything else for me and my whole family.

I always like using TurboTax for my tax returns. They are always so easy to use and understand. They make it extremely easy to file a return and I like the way the software checks every little thing to see if I'm getting the maximum refund possible. Keep up the good work. I look forward to using TurboTax in the years to come.
What's great about it: Easy to use and understand
What's not so great: Nothing
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

We're regular TurboTax users here, and never had a problem with it. The interface is clean and easy to read, and makes filling everything out relatively painless.
Only issue was an inability to e-file. It took a few weeks and a few updates to the software, but we've now been able to e-file, and should still be faster (and more secure) than mail. This is the first time we've had this issue, and it won't keep us from purchasing the software again next year.
What's great about it: Makes filling out the return fast and easy
What's not so great: Was not able to e-file until a patch came through

I will use this product again next year under the idea that this year was a fluke. If I have additional prblems I will look for a new product.
What's great about it: I have used this produce sucessfully for 10yrs without a problem
What's not so great: This year I had to imput my data four times before it would save properly

Bug in state return

There was a bug when I attempted to file my state return. In the "personal info" section it asked me if I earned any income in a state other than my state of residence, which is WV. I said yes, since I work in VA. It then had me download the VA state form - which I had to pay extra for - and fill it out. This caused me to panic because I only had taxes withheld for my home state of WV. Turbotax claimed that I owed a whole ton of money to VA. I realized though that due to the reciprocal agreement between WV & VA - I do not in fact owe taxes in VA. There was thus no need to buy the return. I had to contact a representative from TurboTax to get a refund of what I paid to download the VA form.
What's great about it: Good at importing previous year's return
What's not so great: Bug when attempting to file state return

Used Turbox Tax for 10+ years

After using Turbotax for several years, a couple of years ago I got a bargain deal on a competitors product, so I tried it. That was the year I had to file an amended return, and it was messy. Ever since I've been back to using Turbotax.
I like the auto-carry-forward of the names of charities to speed the entry of the current years donations. Also like the PDF format to save return records. E-filing is simple and fast.
What's great about it: thorough interview

It would be helpful to be able to calculate where you are headed in 2013 - do you need to change your W-4 so as not to owe as much or to lower your refund to have more spendable income during the year!
