Slick and Easy Way to Prepare and File!

This really is an easy way to prepare and file both your Federal and State returns. Once you use TurboTax, your personal information from the previous year is carried over to the new year. It was quick and apparently accurate. I've been using TurboTax for several years and have never had a problem. Try it you'll like it!
What's great about it: Very clear guides
What's not so great: nada...except for having to pay for the state filing.

Not much to review. If you use Turbo Tax then you know what I mean by easy. No sense in paying a tax "professional" IF you have a easy return.
What's great about it: EASY EASY EASY, step by step with great results

No Efile

Easy to use software but it would not let me efile and the faq's did not address how to resolve or find out why. Had to use snail mail for the return.
What's great about it: Easy to use
What's not so great: Would not let me efile stated operation was not allowed.

Great Experience

Overall, the experience was great. Very easy to use and cheaper than an accountant. I had one issue where I couldn't open the free state return form. I ended up buying one on-line, and then found a solution to the original problem. I contacted TurboTax via chat on-line and they refunded the extra purchase no questions asked and very quickly. I am very satisified.
What's great about it: Very user friendly, and cheaper than an accountant.
What's not so great: Had one software issue with the state return.

Purchased Deluxe Turbo Tax to get state return as well as Federal. Turbo Tax keeps trying to charge me extra for my state return. will have to contact Customer Support. This should not be necessary.
What's great about it: Federal easy to use
What's not so great: Extreme difficulty in trying to get state completed

This is the first time in years i have done my own taxes and the last time i did was the long way. for years my professional told me i should do my own due to the lack of complication in both the software and my situation.. I did this year and he was right.
Only problem i had was in the lack of instructions to go back and change the refund selection. I could find no easy way until i asked the question and was guided.

I will use Turbo Tax next year, and will encourage my friends to do so also
What's great about it: Just answer the questions and the software does the work
What's not so great: Updates on every upload of the software; time consuming
