What's great about it: Ease of use Walked me through it all and almost held my hand!
What's not so great: No Cons here I Love Turbo Tax been using it for years

Turbo Tax makes taxes easy. The best part is if you discover something you forgot to put in all the calculations cascade as opposed to doing them by hand.
What's great about it: It just works
What's not so great: Can't fill in forms directly, it considers it an override.

Bad and getting worse!

1 Finished my taxes in late January, but delayed filing waiting for updated forms.
2. Will have to file an amended return because I still can't get to a form 8949 to file for a bad debt nor can I find directions to get the information entered into my TurboTax return.
3. The TurboTax Community is a joke. All I ever found there were complaints, questions, and rehashing IRS answers. Never did any of the so-called solutions resolve any of my software-related issues.
4. My return is hardly complex but TurboTax made it a nightmare this year!

So Happy

Turbo Tax was so much easier to use than I thought. I was nervous about using it and put off doing my taxes until the last minute. I finally got up the nerve to get started, with it being April 13th, and could not have had a greater experience. The language was so easy to understand and the pop up help tabs very helpful. I also enjoyed watching the $$ counter at the top of the page going up and up as I completed each page!

Almost great...

Two areas gave a problem: mistakenly entered a W-2 set and couldn't remove it from the final form
Some how, unknown, selected car mileage on a Form C and couldn't remove for anything....
What's great about it: Detailed and very helpful
What's not so great: Don't enter the wrong thing or you can't change it....

Easy Way To Go

This program does everything I need it to do and quickly. Takes the hassle out of filing.
What's great about it: For a short-form filer, this program can't be beat. Quick, comprehensive, neat, no miscalculations, no paper mess.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
